Kimberly Maranan is the creator and owner behind Tryst Lacquers, a Canadian based indie polish maker. Contact at firstname.lastname@example.org and she sells her polishes here. Check out Tryst Lacquers on Facebook and Instagram. I swatch several of her nail polishes and I’m thrilled to review and show off these beauties.
Just a Crush is a beautiful jade color with tiny blue glitter shimmers and maroon hexagon glitters. The color combination of the glitters and jelly base is stunning. This is three coats of the jelly polish and the application is quite nice. Applies with great coverage and all the glitters are spread out nicely.
*Jelly base has a light hue or pigment added to a clear base. A good analogy would be the jelly base is like lip gloss, also know as translucent, and a cream polish is like lipstick, also know as opaque.
Sweet Nothings is a glitter polish with small blue, pink, and larger orange hexagon glitters. I jelly sammiched it with Sinful Colors Unicorn, which is a jelly base nail polish. The application of the blue and pink glitter was easy, but I had to fish around for the orange hexagons.
What A Girl Wants is such a pretty glitter polish. It’s very girly with a variety of glitter sizes in small, medium, and large in pinks and blues. The application nice and the glitters come out pretty easily, this is two coats over OPI Where’s My Bikini Top?
Lastly, I saved my favorite for last. Kiss On The Lips is a beautiful mauve pinkish jelly base with matte small circular black and white glitters, and matte white hexagonal glitters. The application is nice and the glitters come out easily. I used three coats for this swatch.
