Today’s DIY tutorial is using stencils to add numbers to your mailbox. I used Sharpie Oil-Based Paint Markers, which can be used on terracotta, metals, and glassware. Oil based paint markers are water resistant, fade resistant, and quick drying. If you don’t have the patience for painting, these are the perfect alternative and so easy to use. Check out my other project I did using the Sharpie markers, Terracotta Planters tutorial.
To began use scotch tape to tape the 3″ Numbers Stencil to the mail box. With a pencil trace the numbers. Then shake the Sharpie Oil-Based Paint Markers to mix the paint, be sure to read the instructions on how to use. Just like a marker color inside the lines. Let it dry and you’re done! You can be creative by adding designs and personalizing your mailbox.
